Annie M. Wilt, 92, went home to be with the Lord, on Monday, October 5, 2020, from her daughter's home in Windsor.
Born December 15, 1927, in Lewistown, Pa., into a family of four brothers and one sister, Annie was a daughter of the late Roy B. Foulk and Bessie (Leach) Foulk. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
She was the beloved wife of Jeremiah "Jerry" C. Wilt, whom she married November 13, 1946, and who also preceded her to meet the Lord.
She gave a mother's love to her children: Annie Hess, J. David Wilt, and Esther Roser, and dear friends, Jim and Sylvia Robertson. She was a cherished grandmother of nine grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with family on trips to the cabin and boating at the seashore.
Annie, as a young woman, worked at the Arrow Shirt Factory in Lewistown. After relocating to Harrisburg, she was an employee of A&P Food Stores.
She was a beloved member of Harrisburg Bible Chapel, where she taught Sunday School for many years. She also led in the church kitchen, preparing many wonderful meals in support of the brethren. After moving in with her daughter, she attended North York Gospel Chapel.
A viewing will be held Sunday, October 11, 2020, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 North Main Street, Lewistown, Pa. Funeral services will be Monday, October 12, 2020, 10 a.m., at the funeral home. A brief graveside service will follow at the Wilt Family Cemetery, Wilt Road, McClure.
The family and friends of the Wilt family respectfully request those in attendance wear a face mask.
