Audy Gene Pennington

Audy Gene Pennington, 64, of Burnham, passed away peacefully in his home on January 4, 2022.

Born on November 15, 1957, he was a son of the late Celista F. (Murphy) Pennington and Russell E. Pennington, who survives.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded by a sister, Ida M. Pennington.

In addition to his father, he is survived by; siblings, Roselee A. Harpster, Rick Pennington and wife, Theresia, Donna L. Pennington, and Barry L. Pennington, all of Burnham; seven nieces and nephews and their children.

Audy was a United States Marine Corps Veteran.

He was an excellent marksman. Audy enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards, poker, and spending time with family.

A viewing will be held from 12 to 1 p.m., Friday, January 7, 2022, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, 108 First Ave., Burnham, with a celebration of life at 1 p.m., with Rev. John Walters officiating.

Interment will take place in Vira Cemetery.
