Barbara Ann Kelly, 85, of Lewistown, passed away at 12:45 a.m., Saturday, January 27, 2024, at her home.

Born March 27, 1938, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Grace (Howell) Swineford.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: husband, Harry R. Kelly, Sr. on May 9, 2013; five brothers, Charles, Roy “Ted”, Thomas, Kenneth, and Robert Swineford; and five sisters, Phyllis Wilson, Beverly Baker, and Eileen, Sylvia, and Murial Swineford.

Barbara is survived by: children, Harry R. Kelly Jr., of Harrisburg, and Susan L. Gregg and husband, Michael, and Jeffrey A. Kelly, both of Lewistown; grandchildren, Heather McCorquodale, and Matthew Gregg and wife, Callie, of Nashville; four great-grandchildren, Cash McCorquodale, and Wyatt, Brooks and Harper Gregg; and siblings, Ethel Swineford, and William Swineford and wife, Lynda, both of Lewistown.

Barbara was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Lewistown.

She was owner, operator, and bartender of the Dutch Cellar in Lewistown.  She also worked at Scotty’s Fashions and later, drove a school bus.

Barbara loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and loved all kinds of music.

A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 North Main Street, Lewistown.

The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024, at Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn, with Pastor Chris Lutz officiating.

Interment will take place at Juniata Memorial Park, Lewistown.
