Bertha Elizabeth Bressler

Bertha E. Bressler, 89, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2020, at Valley View Haven, Belleville, Pa.

Born September 9, 1931, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late William A. and Lydia (Shahen) Shehan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin L. Bressler; siblings, Sara V. Bair and Wayne Shehan.

She is survived by a sister, Helen Kenawell, of Reedsville, and niece and guardian, Pamela L. Simpson and husband, Luke, of Littlestown.

In her earlier years, she was a housekeeper at Malta Home.

A viewing will be held from 10-11 a.m., Thursday, November 5, 2020, at Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown, with a funeral service at 11 a.m., with Pastor Randy Traxler officiating.

Interment will take place at Juniata Memorial Park.
