Betty Mae Bearley, 94, of Lewistown, passed from this life into the arms of her Savior, Saturday, November 6, 2021, at William Penn Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
Born Sept. 3, 1927, in Mifflintown, she was a daughter of the late Theodore and Florence (Sausman) Yetter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Bearley, whom she married Oct. 26, 1946, on Feb. 28, 1997; and siblings, Charles, Jack and Jim Yetter, and Pat Bloom.
Betty is survived by: children, Marcia K. Felmlee and husband, Lee, of Reedsville, Stephen L. Bearley and wife, Julie, of Lewistown, and Thomas M. Bearley and wife, Cheryl, of McVeytown; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Beverly Fisher, of Lewistown.
Betty was a member of Calvary Bible Church.
She retired from the Bon-Ton, where she was employed as a sales clerk for many years.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 11, 2021, at Calvary Bible Church, 100 Calvary Lane, Lewistown. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 11 a.m., with Mr. Bob Marsh officiating.
Interment will take place at Lind Memorial Cemetery, Green Avenue, Lewistown.
Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, Lewistown, is in charge of arrangements.
