Beverly D. Ament Obituary

Beverly D. (Seese) Ament, 84, of Lewistown, went home to be with Jesus on December 1, 2025, at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.

Born July 18, 1941, in McVeytown, she was the daughter of the late Kermit G. and Erna I. Seese.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Ament; a brother, Daryl and her nephew, affectionately known as Chubs.

Beverly is lovingly remembered by her siblings, Kermit ‘Bud’ Seese and his wife, Nancy, Gary Seese, Shirley Witmer and her husband, Raymond, and Keith Seese and his wife, Dorinda. She also leaves behind five nephews and five nieces who will carry forward fond memories of their aunt.

She was affectionately known as “Sis” by those closest to her. Beverly knew Carl from the days of him driving her school bus. Years later and after a short courtship, they married on May 16, 1964. Throughout her life, Beverly embraced adventure and entrepreneurship alongside her husband Carl. Together, they found joy in traveling and exploring various business ventures. Their shared spirit of curiosity and determination left a lasting impression on those who knew them. In her later years, Beverly found constant companionship in her small dog, Mitzi. The bond they shared brought her great comfort and joy, and Mitzi remained a cherished presence in her life.

A viewing will be held from 12 – 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, Woodlawn with a funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. with Reverend Darvin Donahey officiating.
