Beverly "Bev" Ann Paige

Beverly "Bev" Ann Paige, 82, of Reedsville, passed away November 25, 2021, at Geisinger Medical Hospital, Danville. 

She was born on May, 6, 1939, in Milroy, and a daughter of the late Betty (Hess) Ferguson and Charles "Tide" Ellsworth Ferguson. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marlin E. Paige, and a son, Marlin ‘Brother’ Clark Paige.

Beverly is survived by; her son, Mark Ferguson Paige, of Reedsville; siblings, Tyde Hess Ferguson and wife, Nan, of Reedsville, Lana Lee Knepp and husband Mark, of Lewistown, and Jan Marie Peachey and husband, Jim, of Reedsville; nieces and nephews, Brian Scott Ferguson and companion, Christi, Greg Allan Ferguson and wife, Mandi,  Beka Lee Yoder and husband, Keith, Jena Lee Knepp, Abby Lee Peachey and husband, Ian; step-nieces and step-nephews, Lucas Bobb, Jennifer Hartzler and husband Cheston, and Jessica Goss and husband, Eric; and numerous great- niece and nephews.

Beverly was a graduate of Lewistown Hospital School of Nursing.  She was a registered nurse at Lewistown Hospital for over 30 years.  A consummate planner and organizer, she was instrumental in establishing and was first nursing manager of the Same Day Surgery department.  For years, along with her close friends, Beverly contributed much time and effort to the Hospital Horseshow and Fairs.  She enjoyed planning vacation trips with family and friends.   

She was a very caring and loving wife, mother, aunt, sister, and friend.  Bev loved her children deeply, always speaking proudly of their accomplishments. She also received much joy in giving to others and spending time with her loved ones.  Bev enjoyed shopping with sisters and friends, always buying for others because she loved seeing the happiness the gift brought them.  While Bev will be greatly missed by her family and friends, we take comfort knowing that she is in the arms of the Lord, surrounded by those that preceded her, which she so deeply missed.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 2, 2021, at 11 a.m., at Heller-Hoenstine, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with Rev. Howard D. Houtz officiating. 

A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. 

Interment will take place in Mt. Rock Cemetery, Lewistown.
