Bobby Joe Carr Jr., 29, of Burnham, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 4, 2025, in McClure.
Born December 8, 1995, in Lewistown, he was the son of Bobby Joe Carr Sr. and companion, Jill Shreck, Ruthie Sara (Peffer) Flanigan and companion, Malik Shabazz.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Carr; grandfather, Cliff Peffer Sr.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandmother, Ruth Peffer, of Lewistown; brothers, Joseph Peffer, of Lewistown, Jacob Carr and fiancé, Katie, of McClure; niece, Madison Peffer; nephew, Jilian Peffer; close cousins, Eddy Lewis, Timmy Wilt; Aunt Rose Dalton; Uncle John Gill; Aunt Tina Bressak and companion, Michael Wallace, and her son, Benjamin.
Bobby was a graduate of Mifflin County High School. He owned and operated a landscaping business, dedicating himself to his work and the community.
Known for his generosity, Bobby enjoyed helping out anyone he could with various odds and ends. He had a deep love for his dogs, Chevys, and working on cars and trucks.
A viewing will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, 108 1st Ave., Burnham.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, Burnham, with Mr. Justin Sellers officiating.
Interment will take place a Birch Hill Cemetery.
