Bonnie L. (Harlon) Slemons

Bonnie L. Slemons, 69, of Lewistown, passed away at 4:30 p.m., Sunday, May 23, 2021, at her home.

Born Feb. 10, 1952, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Russell M. Harlon Sr. and Dorothy L. (Keiser) Harlon.    

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: first husband, Albert Bruce Pearson; second husband, Ralph M. Slemons; and siblings, Russell Harlon Jr., William Harlon, and Kay Clinger.  She was the last of her immediate family.

Bonnie is survived by: daughters, Candi Sellers and husband, William Sr., of Lewistown, Peggy Packer and companion, William Traxler Sr., of Lewistown, and Beth Camp and husband, James, of Albertville, Ala.; seven grandchildren, William Jr. and wife, Laci, Zachery, Donald, Scotty, Jess, A.J., and Emily; and eleven great-grandchildren, Peyton, Riley, William III, Devon, Atara, Megan, Melissa, Cloe J.J., Bentley, Bryant, and Izzy.

Bonnie was a Lewistown High School graduate.  

She was employed as a laborer at Empire Kosher Poultry.

Bonnie’s family was her life and she loved spending time with them.  She also enjoyed gardening, making flower arrangements and reading.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan Street, Lewistown, is in charge of arrangements.
