Brenda J. Jones

Brenda J. Jones, 57, of Lewistown, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, March 2, 2020, at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.

Born May 14, 1962, in Huntingdon, she was a daughter of the late Solomon and Nancy Hostetler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: a sister, Nancy Boyer; and brother-in-law, Lloyd Cavanaugh.

She is survived by: a daughter, Jessica R. Michalchik and husband, Aaron, of Lewistown; siblings, John L. Hostetler and fiancee, Helen Yeager, of Wisconsin, William L. Hostetler and wife, Lori, of McClure, Barbara McKnight and husband, John, of McClure, and Bonnie Cavanaugh, of Lewistown.

She was a former member of Paintersville C&MA Church.

Brenda was a Chief Logan High School graduate, Class of 1981.

She worked as a group home supervisor at Raystown Developmental Services, in Lewistown.

She liked to pick up and go on adventures, traveling and road trips. The family was very important to her she was a loving and devoted mother and was dedicated to her clients at work.

A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Thursday, March 5, 2020, at Paintersville C&MA Church, 3195 Back Maitland Rd., Lewistown, with a funeral service to follow at the church at 11 a.m., with Pastor Bill Romig officiating.

Interment will take place at the Paintersville CMA cemetery.
