C. Glace Obituary

C. Ronald ‘Butch’ Glace, 89, passed away Monday, September 1, 2025, at his home.

He was born July 16, 1936, in Lewistown, to the late Raymond Glace and Sarah K. (Lantz) Massa.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Pat Lingle.

He is survived by his wife, Elva A. (Wagner) Glace; daughters, Sheila Ettinger, of Lewistown, Amy Banick (Steve), of North Carolina, Susan Bobb (Kirk), of Mechanicsburg; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; a sister, Nancy Yutzy, of Lewistown.

He was a member of Masonic Lodge #203 in Lewistown for 60 years, member of Tall Cedars, of Lebanon, member of Moose Lodge #143, of Lewistown, Chapter 186 Royal Arch Mason, 32 degrees of the Scottish Rite, Member of City Hook and Ladder #4, and a member of Trinity United Church of Christ for over 70 years.

Butch graduated in 1954 from Chief Logan High School and entered the Army, 1954 – 1957.

After his time in the service Butch started his working career at IPS as Plant Manager, where he retired after 42 years of service.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 5, 2025, at Juniata Memorial Park cemetery, with Pastor Eric Marsteller officiating and military honors provided by Juniata County Veterans Council.

Arrangements are under the care of Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown.
