Carlos Manuel Mendez Sr., 33, of Hershey, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2019, at his home.

Born May 7, 1986, in Philadelphia, he was the son of Emilio and Lydia (Morales) Mendez, who survive. Also surviving are: his wife, Aleesha (Harpster) Mendez; and children, Jaylynn, Carlos Jr., Tayvear and Amani Mendez.

He was employed as a cook. Carlos had a passion for music and loved cooking for his family and friends.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan Street, Lewistown, in in charge of arrangements.
