Cathy Mae Solt

Cathy Mae Solt, 65, of Lewistown, passed away at 4:10 a.m., Thursday, July 25, 2024, at William Penn Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Lewistown.

Born May 6, 1959, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Catherine Ellen (Karschner) Ponish.

Cathy is survived by:  daughter, Sandy Solt, of Md., grandchildren, Russell Solt and Jamie Porch, sister, Karen Ponish, of Huntingdon, nephew, Shane M. Ponish, of Mount Union, great-aunt, Lorna Smith, of Mapleton Depot, three aunts, Shirley Page and husband, Bill, of Burnham, Freida Mathias, of Halifax, and Becky Hostetler, of Milroy, longtime friends for over 50 years, Kathy and Woody Donaldson, of Vira, and best friend, Jenny Righter, of Yeagertown.

Cathy loved playing the lottery and shopping for family and friends.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
