Christy Marie Brown

Christy Marie Brown, 43, of McClure, passed away Monday, June 28, 2021, at Geisinger Medical Center.     

Born Dec. 14, 1977, in New Brunswick, N.J., she was a daughter of the late Dale Brandt and Barbara (Pardo) Williams, of Lewistown, who survives.     

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Michelle Ketscher.

In addition to her mother, Christy is survived by: four children, Michael Pardo-Myers and wife, Angelleigha, of Lewistown, Brittani Brown, of Fla., Skylar Brown, of Belleville, and Meadow Brown, of Lewistown; grandson, Zachahriah; five step-grandchildren, Sebastian, Harland, Braxton, Abageal and Vernessia; and sister, Lisa Mestas, of Georgia.

Christy was a loving, caring mother and always put everyone else above herself.  She loved listening to music, driving to new places, trips to the beach and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She enjoyed cooking, sitting by a warm fire and just watching television.   She leaves behind many loving memories to be cherished by her family. 

Private services will be held at the family’s convenience.

Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan Street, Lewistown, is in charge of arrangements.
