Clifford M. Deckman Jr., 67, of Lewistown, passed away Monday, June 17, 2024, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Born June 25, 1956, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Hazel E. (Kauffman) Deckman and Clifford M. Deckman Sr., who survives.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his sister, Deborah Treaster and husband, Jim, of Yeagertown; nephew, Christopher Treaster and wife, Paula, of Yeagertown; great-nieces, Miranda Milliken and husband, Myron, and their daughter, Eleanor Ryan, Abbie Treaster and companion, Cole Baker.
Cliff was a 1974 graduate of Chief Logan High School. He received his associate degree at HACC, and a bachelor degree from West Chester University.
Earlier in life, he was a member of Yeagertown United Methodist Church.
He worked as a police officer in Avalon, New Jersey and for several security companies in New Jersey and South Carolina throughout his working career as a security guard supervisor.
A graveside service will take place Friday, June 21, 2024, at 10 a.m., at Birch Hill Cemetery, with Pastor Steven Small officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Cliff’s memory to Rhodes Memorial Church, 500 Highland Ave., Lewistown.
Arrangements are under the care of Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown.
