Clifford R. Poche, 82, of Lewistown, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Born April 10, 1935, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary (Kline) Poche.
Cliff is survived by: his wife, Bertha (Haubrick) Poche, whom he married Oct. 4, 1963; a son, Steven Poche and wife, Lisa, of Lewistown; and three grandsons, Lucas, Nicholas, and Nathan Poche, all of Lewistown.
He was an Army veteran assigned to the 4th Engineer Battalion at Fort Lewis, Washington with six years of active service.
Early in life, Cliff was employed at Sitkin Smelting and Refinery in Lewistown, and later retired from Guardian Industries. Upon retirement, he helped his son at Blue Mountain Hardwood Flooring.
Cliff was a member of the Lewistown Moose and enjoyed watching his grandsons playing sports.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, March 22, at Pleasant View Cemetery, Mattawana, officiated by MAJ Mark Mackneer. Military honors will be provided by VFW Post 7011, Lewistown.
