Clyde R. (Sr.) Bowermaster

Clyde R. Bowermaster Sr. “Lucky Senior”, 77, passed away Friday, November 27, 2020, at his home.

Born August 6, 1943, in Greencastle, PA, he was a son of the late Helen (Burkley) Bowermaster.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by; his wife, Ruth (Johnson) Bowermaster.

He is survived by; children, Clyde R. Bowermaster Jr. and fiancée, Kayla Gillispie, Shawn Bowermaster and wife, Melinda, Debbie Pennington-Rickabaugh and fiancée Brian Walters, all of Lewistown; step-son, Clair R. Cover II, of Lewistown; grandchildren, Kingston R. Bowermaster, Sebastian R. Bowermaster, Clair R. Cover III. Cameron Flasher; step-grandchildren, Krysta Cover, Mountain Ritter, John H. Ritter III, Tyler Baines; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Rick Naugle and wife, Nancy, of Chambersburg, Rita Piper, of Lewistown; former daughter-in-law, Rosetta Bowermaster, of Lewistown; nephews, Michael Pannebaker, Rick Sr., Paul Jr., and Russell; and a niece, Tina Pannebaker.

Clyde retired from Empire Kosher.

He was a member of the VFW, Moose, Brooklyn Fire House, and Mifflin County Forest Fire Fighters.

He enjoyed shooting pool and going fishing and loved watching football and was an avid Eagles fan. He enjoyed sewing canvas dolls, picture frames, NFL calendars, all kinds of things.

A receiving of friends will be held from 2 to 3 p.m., Saturday, December 5, 2020, at Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown.

The family requests anyone attending to follow CDC guidelines and guests are required to wear masks. The amount of people in the funeral home at one time is limited to the family plus six guests.
