It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Connie Jo Haubrick, age 72, of Lewistown, Pennsylvania. Connie Jo peacefully passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.

Born on December 31, 1952, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Russell ‘Scoot’ Brannon and Wanda G. (Royer) Brannon.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Haubrick; and a companion, Thomas St. John.

She is survived by her children, Holly Sweitzer, of Lewistown, Scott Brannon and companion, Carolyn Ross, of Lewistown, Daniel Brannon and wife, Angela, of Burnham; step-children, Albert Haubrick Jr., of Lewistown, Dave Haubrick and wife, Michelle, of McVeytown; grandchildren, Jasmine, Jada, and Liam Brannon, Anthony, Aidan, Isaiah, and Emma Kauffman; great-grandchildren, Jace ‘Red’ Shadel, and Payton Stahr; siblings, Carolyn Gibbins, of Lewistown, Russell Brannon Jr. and wife, Linda, of Lewistown; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Connie Jo was a 1971 graduate of Penn Highlands High School.

Throughout her life, she demonstrated a strong work ethic, working beside her mother at Brannon’s Ceramic Shop and later dedicating herself to caring for others as a caregiver at William Penn and in home healthcare.

Her interests were varied, encompassing crafting in her earlier years and the enjoyment of going to auctions later in life. Connie loved spending time with her family . She loved cooking for and celebrating life events with them. She loved a good party! 

In Connie’s memory help people that need help as she always tried to do. She loved her fur baby, Scotty, who will be lost without her.

A viewing will be held from 10 am to 11 am, Friday, February 28, 2025,  at Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown, followed by a  funeral service at 11 am, with Mr. Buck Carolus officiating.

Interment will take place at Lind Memorial.
