Obituary
Danny Ray Bollinger Sr., 76, of Lewistown, passed away at 6:10 a.m., Friday, March 24, 2023, at Brookline Manor, Mifflintown.
Born Aug. 16, 1946, in Robertsdale, Huntingdon County, he was a son of the late Melvin O. and Shirley (Parks) Bollinger.
He is survived by: wife, Deborah (Rhine) Bollinger, whom he married Aug. 10, 1968; children, Danny R. Bollinger Jr. and wife, Jennifer, of McVeytown, and Deanne R. Hetrick and husband, Shawn, of Lewistown; grandchildren, Cassidi, Clayton, Evan and Ellie; and siblings, Sharon Knable and husband, Ronald, of Shirleysburg, and Melvin D. Bollinger and wife, Judy, of Lewistown.
Danny was a Lewistown High School graduate, Class of 1965.
He was employed by Standard Steel Corporation in the Maintenance Shop for over 50 years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and cruises.
A graveside service will begin at 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at Juniata Memorial Park, 9010 US Highway 522 South, Lewistown, with Pastor Russel Nesbitt officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Danny’s memory may be made to Huntingdon County Humane Society, 11371 School House Hollow Rd., Huntingdon, PA 16652.
