Danny Lee Hackenburg Obituary

Danny L. Hackenburg, 65, of Lewistown, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025, at his home.


Born April 26, 1960, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Calvin E. ‘Red’ Hackenburg and Betty Mae (Walters) Hackenburg.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Lynden Abraham Baxter; and a brother, Ron Walters.


He is survived by his wife, Marjorie L. (Aitkins) Hackenburg; son, Richard Baxter and wife, Briette, of Waynsboro; grandson, Pierce Baxter; siblings, Peg Stine and husband, Mike, of Lewistown, Joe Hackenburg and wife, Pat, of Lewistown, Brenda Crosson and companion, Ron Wagner, of New Lancaster Valley; many loving nieces, nephews, , and cousins; in-laws; and a close friend, Tommy Deamer.


Danny worked for Falconer Glass Industries and Zimmerman Truck Lines.


Services are private and convenience of the family.
