Darlene E. Lauver, 76, of Lewistown, passed away Monday, January 18, 2021, at her home.
Born Sept. 14, 1944, in McVeytown, she was a daughter of the late Vaughn and Clara (Shipe) Shipe.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lauver, and siblings, Vaughn Shipe, Dawn Fultz and John Shipe.
Darlene is survived by: her daughter, Tandi Lauver and companion, Carl Briggs, of Lewistown; grandchildren, Aaron Lauver and companion, Erica LeFevre, and Alesha Stahl; six great-grandchildren, Tyson, Madison, Alissa, Chase, Jayson and Michael; sister, Dale Hetrick of Lewistown; sister-in-law, Faye M. Shipe, of Lewistown; and longtime friends, Carolyn White, of McVeytown, and Joyce Condron, of Burnham.
She was a Chief Logan High School graduate, Class of 1964.
Darlene was a member of First United Methodist Church, Lewistown.
She was employed for 25 years as a licensed practical nurse at Lewistown Hospital and later worked as a home health nurse for several companies.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 21, 2021, at Juniata Memorial Park, 9010 US Highway 522 South, Lewistown, with Reverend Randy Hughes and Reverend Karen McCachren officiating.
Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan Street, Lewistown, is in charge of arrangements.
