David P. ‘Sonny’ Druckemiller, Sr., 88, passed away Monday, August 25, 2025 at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.

Born June 15, 1937, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Wilbur Druckemiller and Viola (Snook) Druckemiller.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia (Cupp) Druckemiller; children, Terry Yoder and Judy Smith; siblings, Virginia, Martin, Wilbur, Thelma, Melvin and Glen.

He is survived by his son, Daniel ‘Joe’ Druckemiller; sisters, Betty, Marjorie and Linda as well as five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

David graduated from Chief Logan High School Class of 1955. He went on to serve with pride in both the United States Army and the Army Reserves.

He concluded his career with retirement from Kroger Foods.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 to 3 p.m., Sunday, September 7, 2025.
