Born February 15, 1940, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late George T. and Carolyn (Gontarski) Stoicheff.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Larry and Theodore “Ted” Stoicheff.

He is survived by his wife, Ann (Wakefield) Stoicheff, whom he married August 24, 1963; daughter, Karen S. Dave was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Lewistown.

He was a Lewistown High School graduate, Class of 1958. As an underclassman, he played football and was class president. He later played a major role in organizing class reunions.

He served in the Army Reserve for six years following graduation from high school.

He owned and operated 701 Mart in Burnham during the 1970s. He was the bookkeeper of Stoicheff Auto Parts Store in Lewistown and spent many fun days on U-Haul runs around the state for the family business.

Dave enjoyed bowling and photography. He collected license plates, stamps, 9V batteries, and coins. He also collected magnets that he acquired personally and from family members during their travels. He was an active member of the Sacred Heart cemetery crew, spending his Wednesday evenings mowing and trimming and then enjoying snacks with the guys.
