Dawn A. (Reichert) Wentle

Dawn A. Wentle, 69, of Burnham, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital.

Born Sept. 22, 1949, in Alport, Centre County, she was a daughter of the late Arnold and Zana (Searfoss) Reichert.

Dawn is survived by: her husband, James T. Wentle, whom she married on Jan. 23, 1970; son, Geoffery and wife, Nicole; much loved grandchildren, Braden and Lauren; sisters, Jennifer Tate and Denise Turso and husband, James; and many nieces and nephews.

Dawn was a retired nurse.  She worked at Harrisburg General, Centre Community and Mount Nittany Hospitals.  Later, she worked for Rawdon and Baade Ear, Nose and Throat Practice for many years prior to retiring.

Dawn loved decorating her home for the seasons and holidays, rearranging and redecorating to her liking.  She touched many lives and will be missed by many.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., Saturday, May 25, 2019, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, 108 First Avenue, Burnham.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dawn's memory may be made to the United Way of Mifflin-Juniata, 13 East Third Street, Lewistown, PA 17044.
