Deborah Irene Dressler, 74, of Port Royal, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024, at her home.
Born on March 3, 1950, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late George and Thelma (Lukens) Specht.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Swartz.
She is survived by her husband, Dean E. Dressler, who she married in 1999; children, Laurie Kauffman and husband, William, of McVeytown, William Seaholtz Jr., of McVeytown, Jennifer Mahoney and husband, Jason, of Mifflintown, John Dressler and wife, Flo, of Newport; many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Don Swartz.
Deborah was a graduate of Rothrock High School, Class of 1968.
In her early years, she worked at Scottie’s Fashions and Artistic Industries.
She enjoyed going to fairs and carnivals, thrift shopping, going on bus trips. She also enjoyed a trip to Hawaii with her husband, and going on cruises.
A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, April 5, 2024, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 6, 2024, at the funeral home, with Rev. Bernard Carpenter officiating.
Private interment will take place at Juniata Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Deborah’s memory to: Juniata County Food Pantry, 114 N. Main St., Mifflintown, PA 17059.
