Debra L. Benner

Debra L. Benner, 74, of McClure, went to be with the Lord Thursday, June 5, 2025 at the comfort of her home.

Born March 10, 1951, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Patricia L. and Bob E. Gross

She is survived by her husband, Timothy G.  Benner, whom she married on November 1, 1969;

children, Kara L. Harris and husband, Robert, of Mclure, and Ty G. Benner, of Beaver Springs; grandchildren, Ava Harris, Brayden Harris, and Dalton Benner; sister, Barbara Martini and husband, Gilbert, of Doylestown.

Debra was a 1969 graduate of West Snyder High School.

She worked as a secretary at Highland Park and Lewistown Intermediate Schools; she retired in 2015.

Debra loved talking with her friends and the company of her grandchildren and her dog, Reggie. She was an avid reader and she enjoyed baking, and going shopping.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, July 20, 2025, at Decatur Community Center.

Interment will take place in Adamsburg Cemetery.
