Delores “Del” Ann (Hammill) Fultz, 85, of McClure, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Friday, January 27, 2023, at her home.
Born April 12, 1937, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late James D. and Ida A. (Specht) Hammill.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: two sons, Robert E. Fultz Jr. and Michael E. Fultz; five sisters, Florence O. Hammill, Dorothy I. Hammill, Linda L. Groce, Evelyn F. Scyoc, and June Frampton; and two brothers, Wesley A. Hammill and James D. Hammill Jr. Delores was the eldest and last survivor of her siblings.
Del is survived by: her husband of 67 years, Robert E. Fultz Sr., whom she married July 29, 1955; children, Sandra Fultz, of McClure, Beverly Rossman and husband, Donald, of Alfarata, and Steven Fultz, of Lewistown; eight grandchildren, Adam, Zachary, Michael, Justin, Jeremy, Anthony, Crystal and James; four great-grandchildren, Adrianne, Hayden, Stephanie and Max; and two great-great-grandchildren, Karson and Adalee.
Delores graduated from Lewistown High School, Class of 1955, and South Hills Business School. She held various jobs throughout her life, but most importantly, enjoyed taking care of her family.
She was a member of Calvary Bible Church. In her earlier years, she taught the ladies Sunday School Class. Due to her illnesses in recent years, Del was unable to attend services, but loved and cherished her church family.
A viewing will be held from 7 to 9 p.m., Monday, Jan. 30, 2023, at Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan Street, Lewistown.
A second viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 31, at Hoenstine Funeral Home, followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m., with Pastor Bob Marsh officiating.
Interment will take place at Church Hill Cemetery, Reedsville.
