Delphine L. Solt, 82, passed away peacefully on Friday, Sept. 28, 2018, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Born Sept. 14, 1936, in Burnham, she was a daughter of the late Hobert C. and Mary A. (Clinger) McCartle.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, James L. Solt, whom passed in 1998; two sons, Ricky Lynn Solt, whom passed in 1996 and Kenneth E. Solt, whom passed in 2010; a great-grandson, Blake Shelton Solt; and two sisters, Mae Harmon and Dorothy Weaver.
She is survived by: children, Jeannette D. Solt and companion, Marlin Manbeck, of Lewistown, Lisa Davis and husband, Keith, of Lewistown, and Michael J. Solt and wife, Gaynelle, of Lewistown; grandchildren, Steven, Troy, and Brent Solt, Daina Moore, Jerry, Samuel, Nathan, Nicholas, Lacie and Danielle Solt, Gregory, Cassi, Matthew and Gabrielle Manbeck; and great- grandchildren, Mercedes, Trenton, Skylar, Rhonda Solt, Izaak Manbeck, Elena, Riley, Peyton, Kalista Solt, Gavin Stein, and Chelsea Street.
Delphine had attended Burnham Presbyterian Church. She was a member of Yeagertown Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary. She was a wonderful Mimi to many more children, stepgrandchildren and step- great-grandchildren, she loved them all. She loved spending time with her family. She had quite the green thumb, she enjoyed taking care of her plants and flowers.
A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, with Rev. John Walters officiating.
Interment will take place in Birch Hill Cemetery.
