Donald Francis Reeder

Donald Francis Reeder, known to many as ‘Hawk’, 81, of Lewistown, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, October 29, 2023.

Born on September 3, 1942, he was the son of the late Paul and Mary Ellen (Daubert) Reeder.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and Robert Reeder, and a sister, Marian.

He is survived by; partner, Linda Rhine, of 30 years; three children, Darrin, Scott, and Julie; two granddaughters; many foster children over a 20-year period including, Allen Kearney and Harry Lowber; stepchildren, Michele, and Dan; step-grandchildren, Kylene (Ryan), Brodie (Whitney), Jaedan, and Tanner; two step-great grandchildren, Micah, and Bennett.

Earlier in life, he worked for Pepsi and DBI before becoming a self-employed contractor.

Hawk was an avid sports fan of PSU, Steelers, and the Phillies. He coached little league and junior babe ruth teams. He enjoyed DJing, camping, and especially feeding the deer. He loved spending time with his family.

Services are private and held at the convenience of the family.
