Donald R. Riden

Donald R. Riden, 77, of McClure, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2024, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.

Born on February 3, 1947, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Harry G. and Geraldine (Mowery) Riden.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Joseph Riden, Patty Baumgardner, Beverly Wagner, and Gerald ‘Mike’ Riden.

He is survived by his wife, Ann (Rodkey) Riden, whom he married December 31, 1997; daughters, Monique Riden-Wilson, of Troxelville, Sherri Earnest and husband, Chad, of Lewistown, Tiffani Fryer and husband, Brian, of Granville, Fionna Berry, of Lewistown, Ashley Rodkey, of McClure; grandchildren, Dustin, Amanda, Devin, Dylon, Timothy, Darrien, Cody, Ayden, Alex, Zorrah, Hunter, Owen, Lola; and six great-grandchildren.

Don was a United States Army veteran.

He worked as a truck driver.

Don loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing, and he was a skilled craftsman and loved woodworking.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Don and Ann’s residence.
