Donna E. (Worden) Page, 81, of Lewistown, died peacefully at Locust Grove Retirement Village in Mifflin, on Friday, June 28, 2024.
Born in Olean, N.Y. on Sept. 5, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Donald Worden and Mildred (Blue) Aumiller. In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by an infant brother, Robert, a sister, Diane (Worden) Easton, and her beloved grandson, Garet.
Surviving are: her husband of 63 years, William E. Page; three children, Colleen (Page) Gearhart and partner, Kenneth Hansen, of Gardnerville, Nev., Lisa (Page) Schenker, of Lewistown, and partner, James Kello (State College); and William K. Page, of Mesa, Ariz.; three siblings, Beverly Goodrich and husband, Garth, of Gainesville, Ga., Ronald Scutt and wife, Shirley, of McClure, Pa., and Gerald Scutt and wife, Kathy, of Portville, N.Y.; six grandchildren, Brooks, Kymberly, Morgan, Joseph, Alexa and Colin; and eight great-grandchildren.
Donna was a loving mother and homemaker. She enjoyed word search books, taking walks, going out to dinner each Friday with her nephew, Robert Easton, watching cooking and remodeling shows, and in earlier years, singing in the church choir. Donna’s true joy, however, was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Often, she would say, “I love all of my family!”
“Unable are the loved to die. For love is immortality.” – Emily Dickinson
