Dorene M. (Wilson) Tate

Dorene M. (Wilson) Tate, 85, of Lewistown, passed away Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018, at Ohesson Manor.

Born June 3, 1933, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Lee Roy and Marie (Bowlby) Wilson. She married Lee D. Tate, Jan. 10, 1953, who preceded her in death on April 19, 2000. A son, Rodney Lee Tate, died Jan. 30, 1977.

Surviving are children; Michael R. (Vicky) Tate, Andrew F. Tate, and Adrienne J. Tate; eight grandchildren 12 great grandchildren; siblings, Judy Kratzer (Don) Singer, Joe (Sandra) Wilson; a brother,Lee Mont Wilson, died in 2004; a sister, Patricia A. (Jesse) Davis died in 2017.

Dorene was a 1951 graduate of Derry Township High School. She was last employed at the Mifflin County Courthouse for 17 years, retiring in 1995.

Dorene was a charter member of Calvary Bible Church.

Services and interment will be private per Dorene’s request.
