Dwayne E. Berry, 58, of Loysville, passed away at 6:23 p.m., Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at UPMC West Shore Hospital, Mechanicsburg.
Born Aug. 18, 1963, in Lewistown, he was a son of Dean E. Berry, of Ickesburg, who survives, and the late Dorothy (Rice) Berry.
In addition to his father, Dwayne is survived by: wife, Diann E. (Geyer) Berry; daughter, Dena E. Kilian and husband, Christopher, of Loysville; grandchildren, Blaise and Clara; and his brother, Daniel E. Berry and wife, Danielle, of Ickesburg.
He was a graduate of West Perry High School.
Dwayne was a member of the Church of the Living Christ in Loysville.
He was employed as a supervisor at T-Force Freight, Mechanicsburg.
Earlier in life, Dwayne enjoyed kayaking and archery. He loved working on cars, tinkering in his garage and helping his brother Dan with his racecar. He also loved giving his grandchildren tractor rides and watching them work alongside him in his garage. Dwayne enjoyed learning the history of Perry County and loved to travel, taking historical tours in every city he visited.
A visitation will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021, at the Church of the Living Christ, 2401 Fort Robinson Road, Loysville, followed by the memorial service at 11 a.m., with Pastor Doran Wray officiating.
Interment will take place at the Church of the Living Christ.
Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan Street, Lewistown, is in charge of arrangements.
