Elizabeth Ellen Romig, 82, of McClure, passed away Monday, September 28, 2020, at Geisinger Medical Center, in Danville.
Born May 27, 1938, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Blanche (Miller) Barlett.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, George J. Romig, who passed in 2013; two grandchildren, Autumn Hess and Heather Marie Suloff; three brothers, Charles, Robert, and Donald Paul Barlett.
She is survived by: children, Robin A. VanScyoc and husband, Donald, of McClure, Michael G. Heister, of Lewistown, Dawn M. Suloff and husband, Ricky, of Lewistown, Walter P. Davis, of McClure; grandchildren, Angela Fields, Sue A. Heister, Brian Micheal Heister, Scott A. Suloff ; and a special granddaughter, Sara Rose; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sisters, Marie Grose and husband, Charles, of Lewistown, Linda Bell, of Mifflin, Donna Narehood, of Lewistown, and Betty Gaisor and husband, Nelson, of Lebanon.
Elizabeth worked for several sewing factories and was a fair concessionaire where she made the funnel cakes at local fairs.
She loved playing bingo, going to the casino, and her pets, especially dogs. She was an avid NASCAR fan. She would often help at the Decatur cookhouse and help with fundraisers.
Per her wishes, no services will be held.
