Esther I. Peck, 77, Lewistown, passed away at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 19, 2022, at her home.
Born Aug. 26, 1944, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Margaret (Beaver) Knepp.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: brothers, Fred, Theodore and Leroy Beaver, and her sister, Helen Shotzberger.
Esther is survived by: husband, Gregory Peck, Sr.; six children, Glen Kephart Jr. and wife, Rita, of Bunker Hill, W.V., Kenneth Kephart and wife, Nita, of Burnham, Russell Kephart, Sr. and companion, Tammy Knepp, and Gregory Peck, Jr., both of Lewistown, Darlene Peck and companion, Dan Wilson, of McClure, and Angela Young and husband, Steven, of Milton; nine grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
She attended Salvation Army Church in Lewistown.
In her earlier years, Esther was employed at Arrow Shirt Factory. She later worked as a private caregiver for 28 years before retiring.
Esther loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-granddaughter. She enjoyed beautiful roses, reading romance novels and watching cardinals.
A celebration of life service will begin at Noon on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at the historic Stone Arch Bridge, 1 Jack’s Creek Lane, Lewistown.
