Evelyn O'Malley Houser, 65, of McClure, passed away at 5:31 p.m., Friday, Oct. 23, 2020, at her home.
Born Aug. 24, 1955, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Frank O'Malley Houser and Betty J. (Baker) Houser.
Evelyn is survived by: her companion, J. Edwin "Ed" Macknair; sons, Robert S. Fredd and wife, Shelly, of Lancaster, and Geoffrey M. Fredd, of Kent, Wash.; grandson, Noah Alexander Fredd, of Kent, Wash.; and siblings, Melva J. Worley, of Reedsville, and Timothy Houser and wife, Gert, of Milroy.
She was a Kishacoquillas High School graduate.
She owned and operated Evelyn's Baked Goods and Hodge Podge, in McClure.
Evelyn was a volunteer at the Decatur Fire Company Cookhouse. She enjoyed reading, sewing, crocheting, quilting, collecting recipes and attending auctions.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2020, at the Decatur Fire Company Cookhouse, 4277 US Highway 522 North, Lewistown.
