Evelyn Jack Obituary

Evelyn Jean Jack, 93, of Lewistown, passed away at 3:44 p.m., Sunday, May 29, 2022, at Mount Nittany Hospital, State College.

Born Aug. 14, 1928, in Natrona Heights, Allegheny County, she was a daughter of the late Paul W. and Vilma (Uhrin) Gretz.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Jack Jr., and siblings, Paul Gretz and Edith Fritz.

Evelyn is survived by: daughter, Adrienne Marie Harlacher and husband, Edward G. Jr., of Lewistown; grandson, Trevor Guyer and wife, Madyson, of Cocolamus; and great-grandson, Owen Guyer.

She was a graduate of East Deer Frazer High School in Creighton.

She was a member of Janes Methodist Church where she served as an organist.

In her earlier years, she was employed as a secretary at Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family, with interment at Juniata Memorial Park in Lewistown.

Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan Street, Lewistown, is in charge of arrangements.
