Faith Mackenzie Bollinger

Faith Mackenzie Bollinger, 12, passed away July 13, 2021, at Hershey Children’s Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her brother, R. Drew Treaster, and maternal grandparents, Harold and E. Jane Liveringhouse.

She is survived by: father, Lee Bollinger and significant, Angie Pompei, of Harrisburg; mother, Lisa Bollinger and significant, Chuck Miller, of Centre Hall; brothers, Cy Treaster, of Reedsville, Marcus Bollinger, of Killeen, Texas, and Austin Bollinger, of Huntingdon; paternal grandparents, Jake and Shirley Bollinger, of Everett; Uncle James and Aunt Michele Bollinger, of Bellwood, and her constant companion dog, Layla.

Faith completed sixth grade at Penns Valley Elementary Intermediate School and attended Penns Valley YMCA After School and Summer School Age Program.  Recently, she enjoyed gymnastics at Moshannon Valley YMCA and Fearless Athletics-Bellefonte.

Faith touched the lives of so many as it is written in Esther 4:14, “Perhaps this is the moment for which you were created”.  Our beloved, happy girl, the light of our lives and the star of our hearts leaves us smiling through our tears.  She was joy personified; a special kind of love.

All who have known this beautiful soul understand her gift of trust, friendship, confidence in changing the world, and the power of the Holy Spirit that radiated from her presence.  We ask that you take your personal experience with our Faith and pass on LOVE without judgment to everyone you meet.

Visitation will be received by the family from 3 to 6 p.m., Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 North Main Street, Lewistown, followed by the memorial service, offered by Pastor Kim Cartwright.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests gifts in Faith’s memory be made in support of Child Life at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital.  Checks should be made payable to Penn State University with ‘Child Life’ noted on the memo line, and mail to: University Development, PO Box 852, Hershey, PA 17033-0852.
