Fay A. (Hummel) Stine

Fay A. Stine, 71, of Lewistown, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at her home.   

Born April 4, 1947, in Penns Grove, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Wilmer and Helen (Swift) Hummel.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. “Bob” Stine, on Oct. 13, 2013.          

Fay is survived by: her son, Robert L. Stine Jr. and wife, Heidi, of Lewistown; granddaughters, Brittani L. and Kati L. Stine, both of Lewistown; brothers, Harold Hummel and wife, Joy, of McClure, and Earl Hummel and wife, Judy, of Naginey; a sister, Wilma "Willy" Reese and husband, Mark, of Marietta; and half-sister, Sandy (Hummel) Finleon, and husband, Mike, of Texas.

She graduated from Chief Logan High School.

Fay attended Centre Union Church.  

She was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Family Center, Lewistown.

Fay loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed crocheting things for her family.  She was always there for her family and friends and will be dearly missed by all.

A receiving of friends will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at Centre Union Church, 200 Greenwood Ave., Yeagertown.  A funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the church, with Reverend Kurtis Swisher officiating.  

Interment will take place at Mt. Rock Cemetery, Lewistown.      

Arrangements are under the care of Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown.
