Fay A. Walls, 95, of Lewistown, passed away at 12:06 p.m., Friday, November 19, 2021, at her home.
Born June 13, 1926, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late George W. and Margaret (Sheriff) Snyder.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: husband, Bruce Walls, April 17, 1988; daughter, Fay A. Sweitzer; sons, William T. Walls and Timothy W. Hackett; grandson, Chris Sweitzer; four brothers, James C., Ira C., Lewis and Oscar Snyder; and four sisters, Mary DeArment, Delsie Maben, Helen Hackett and Betty Ross.
Fay is survived by: children, Wallace B. Walls, and Emmaline Snyder and husband, William, both of Lewistown; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great- and great-great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Esther Coleman and husband, Elwood, of Curwensville.
She was a member of Paintersville Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA) Church.
Fay was employed for 15 years at Hartley’s Chips in Lewistown, then worked 20 years at Beavertown Weaving Mill before retiring in 1988.
She loved her family and her little dog, Tabby, and her cat, Abby.
A viewing will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021, at Paintersville C&MA Church, 3195 Back Maitland Road, Lewistown, followed by the funeral service at Noon, with Pastor Bill Romig officiating.
Interment will take place at Paintersville Cemetery.
