Frederick F. Rodgers, 82, of Lewistown, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Brookline Manor in Mifflintown.

Born January 27, 1943, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Fay G. and Martha A. (Olnick) Rodgers.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by a brother Harry J. Rodgers.

He is survived by his wife Nancy J. Rodgers; children, Stephen F. Rodgers, of Lewistown, Christina L. Varner and husband, Matt, of Harrisburg, Rebecca R. Haas and husband, Larry, of Red Lion; two granddaughters, Amanda Varner, Natalie Rodgers; and a brother Dennis E. Rodgers, of North Carolina.

Fred was a 1961 graduate of Chief Logan High School.

Fred worked at Standard Steel for 42 years.

Services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the care of Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown.
