Gary R. Mitchell, 75, of Lewistown, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Greenwood Village.

Born March 9, 1949, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Clell E. and Audrey L. (Wolfley) Mitchell.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley (Weiand) Mitchell’ and several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by; children, Gary and Frank Weiand, of Yeagertown, Dwight Mitchell, Michael Mitchell and wife, Leslie, Leroy Mitchell, of Lewistown, Nicole Wise, of Linden, and Shawn Wise, of McAlisterville; many loving grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; a sister, Margaret Habbershon, of Lewistown, and a brother, Stanley Mitchell; many loving nieces and nephews.

He was a member of VFW and the Moose.

Gary worked as a dump truck driver for Mike’s Landscaping for over 30 years.

He enjoyed being outdoors hunting and going fishing.

Per his wishes, No Services will be held.
