Gary Osborne Obituary

Gary P. Osborne, 91, of Lewistown, passed away at 11 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2020, at his home.

Born Jan. 16, 1929, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Charles and Kathryn (Russler) Osborne.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: brothers, John and Marlin Osborne; sisters, Shirley Ritter and Virginia Tate; and stepson, Stephen Kuhns.

Gary is survived by: his wife, Reda (Nofsker) Kuhns; children, Teresa Urick, of Milroy, and Ronald Osborne and wife, Vicki, of McAlisterville; stepdaughters, Carla Bilheimer, of Yeagertown, and Data Kuhns, of Fla.; six grandchildren, Jennifer Shawver, R. P. Osborne, Caleb and Cole Bilheimer, Lucas Trainer and Brandon Osborne; four great-grandchildren; and his brother, Donald Osborne and wife, Florence, of Va.

He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 7011, Lewistown.

Gary retired from The Pennsylvania State University's maintenance department.

Per his wishes, there will be no services.

Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown, is in charge of arrangements.
