Obituary

Glen K. Stitt, 92, of Newport, passed away Monday, December 28, 2020, at Locust Grove Retirement Village.

Born April 2, 1928, in East Waterford, he was the son of the late Boyd and Ernstine (Kirk) Stitt.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; his wife, Mildred (Good) Stitt; and a step-grandson.

He is survived by; children; Carrol Rose and husband, Russell, of Lewistown, Kenneth Stitt and wife, Carole, of Newport, Christine Reside and husband, David, of Lockport; stepchildren, Cindy Walters and husband, Jeff, and Phyllis Good, both of Lititz, PA.; seven grandchildren, and three step-grandchildren

Glen was a graduate of Rothrock school.

When Marlette Homes first opened in 1953, Glen was one of the first 100 employees to be hired and he later retired from the company.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be held at Juniata Memorial Park.
