Glenn H. Knepp, Jr.

Glenn H. Knepp Jr., 86, formerly of McVeytown, passed away at 5:56 p.m., Monday, May 4, 2020, at Ohesson Manor, Lewistown.

Born April 15, 1934, in Pottstown, he was a son of the late Glenn H. Sr. and Mary (Dietz) Knepp.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Sarajayne A. (Knepp) Knepp, whom he married June 2, 1953; great-granddaughter, Ava Marie Aultz; and a son-in-law, Wayne Beckenbaugh.

Glenn is survived by: children, Melanie A. Osborn and husband, Edward, of New Philadelphia, Ohio, Rhonda R. Aultz and husband, Steven, of Spartansburg, Dawn D. Hetzel and husband, James, of Bellefonte, Glenn H. Knepp III and wife, Debra, of Spotsylvania, Va., and Mary E. Beckenbaugh, of Lewistown; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Dennis Knepp, of McClure, and Neil Knepp and wife, Jill, of Reedsville.

He graduated from McClure High School, Class of 1952.

He was employed for 42 years at the American Viscose Corporation, Avtex Fibers, and retired as a maintenance supervisor from Lewistown Specialty Yarns.

Services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.

Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown, is in charge of arrangements.
