Harold Flood Obituary

Harold G. Flood, 79, of Reedsville, passed away at 1:05 p.m., Monday, Feb. 8, 2021, at his home.  

Born July 7, 1941, in Blairs Mills, Huntingdon County, he was the son of the late Glenn and Lillian (Kling) Flood. 

Harold is survived by: his wife of 58 years, E. Louise (Schueck) Flood; children, Karen Lynn Moffit and husband, John, of West Chester, and Steven H. Flood and wife, Katy, of Lewistown; seven grandchildren, Caitlin, Anne and Sarah Moffit, and Jacob, Jared, Jackson and Grace Flood; and  sister, Carolyn Fleming, of Blairs Mills.

He graduated from Orbisonia High School, Class of 1959.

Harold served in the U.S. Navy from 1959 to 1962.

He was a member of Lewistown Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Juniata Terrace, Lewistown.

Early in life, Harold was employed at the American Viscose Corporation.  He later retired from Standard Steel Machine Shop I.

Harold was a member of the American Cruizers Club, Coffee Run Fishing Club and Old Mountain Road Hunting Club. 

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan Street, Lewistown, is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Harold’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1375 Martin St., Suite 206, State College, PA 16803.
