Jack Hartsock Obituary

Jack Hartsock, 69, of Milroy, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at his home.


Born on January 25, 1957, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Howard Hartsock Sr. and Virginia J. (Kessinger) Hartsock. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Gene Hartsock.


He is survived by siblings, Charles Hartsock Sr. and wife, Deb, Kathleen Foltz and husband, Jeff, both of Lewistown; and a nephew, Charles T. Hartsock Jr., of Milroy.


Jack was a graduate of Lewistown High School, Class of 1976.


He was a life member of Brooklyn Fire Company, and Junction Fire Company.


Earlier in life he worked at J-Wood. He retired from Lewistown Cabinet Center in Milroy after 33 years of service, where he was known as a very dedicated and reliable worker.


He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and gardening.


A receiving of friends will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown, with a memorial service to follow at 7 p.m., with Pastor Randy Traxler officiating.


Private interment will take place at St. Marks Cemetery.
