Jacqueline D. Libby, 92, of Belleville, passed away at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, April 23, 2022, at her home.
Born May 28, 1929, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Walter J. and Evelyn (LeMay) King.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: husband, Lyman L. Libby, March 12, 2010; grandson, Edward V. Winner II; and sister, JoAnn (King) Carter.
Jacqueline is survived by: daughter, Vickie L. Winner and husband, Edward, of Millmont; grandchildren, Danielle L. Koontz and husband, Adam, of Catonsville, Md., and Lyman D. Winner and wife, Ann, of Crestco, Pa.; four great-grandchildren, Sophia and Cora Koontz, and Perrin and Clementine Winner; a sister, Janet L. Britt, of Belleville; and many nieces and nephews.
She was a graduate of Yeagertown High School, Class of 1947.
She was a member of Little Valley Presbyterian Church.
Early in life, Jacqueline worked at H.B. McMeens department store in downtown Lewistown, then lived in Calif. from 1958 to 1963. She retired from Educational Testing Service in Princeton, N.J. with 25 years of service prior to returning to Mifflin County.
Jacqueline was an avid golfer, bowler and enjoyed playing cards. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, warm weather, and spending time between their home at the Jersey shore and winters in Florida for over 20 years.
A graveside service will begin at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Woodlawn Cemetery, Cemetery Lane, Milroy, with Reverend James Bricker officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jacqueline’s memory may be made to Little Valley Presbyterian Church, 1392 Vira Road, Lewistown, PA 17044, or to The Ursinus College, Eddie Winner Memorial Scholarship Fund, 601 East Main Street, Collegeville, PA 19426.
