Jacquelyn 'Jacquie' (Readdy) Righter

Jacquelyn 'Jacquie' Righter, 89, of Yeagertown, passed away at 3:35 p.m., Thursday, August 13, 2020, at her home.

Born April 18, 1931, in Selinsgrove, she was a daughter of the late Herbert E. and Isabel N. (Koons) Readdy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Charles S. 'Pete' Righter, Feb. 7, 2008; son, Charles R. Righter, March 19, 1984; and her brother, H. Allan Readdy, Dec. 2001.

Jacquie is survived by: children, Frances E. Righter, of Yeagertown, Nancy J. Hepler and husband, Randy, of Lewistown, Jenny L. Righter, of Yeagertown, Patricia A. Trinclisti and husband, David, of Lewistown, and Daniel A. Righter, of Yeagertown; grandchildren, Brian and Sara Trinclisti, and Emma Joy Hepler; and sister, Nanciann Haller, of Lewistown.

She graduated from Derry Township High School, Class of 1949, and from the Lewistown Hospital School of Nursing in 1952.

She was a member of Holy Communion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Yeagertown.

Jacquie was employed as a registered nurse at F.W. Black Hospital, Lewistown Hospital, and at the Mifflin County Home, which later became Ohesson Manor.

She was a member of the Lewistown Hospital School of Nursing Alumni and the Knotty Ladies at Holy Communion.  Jacquie also enjoyed traveling and taking bus trips with her friends.

A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Aug. 17, 2020, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, 108 First Avenue, Burnham.

The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2020, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, 108 First Avenue, Burnham, with Rev. Philip Tundel officiating.

Interment will take place at Yeagertown Lutheran Cemetery.
