James F. “Jim” Lepley, 48, of Lewistown, passed away Monday, Oct. 15, 2018, at Geisinger-Danville Hospital.
Born Sept. 21, 1970, in Lewistown, he was a son to the late Charles and Grace (Wray) Lepley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Holly Elizabeth.
James is survived by: his wife, Charlotte L. Lepley, whom he married on Oct. 25, 2006; children, Tiffany Hall, of Lewistown, Vanessa Murray, of Cleveland, Ohio, Robert Murray, of Lewistown; 13 grandchildren; brothers, Michael Wray and wife, Judy, of Burnham, David Lepley, of Lewistown, and Jeffrey Lepley and wife, Jaylene, of Reedsville.
He attended Evangel Baptist Church.
He was an Indian Valley High School graduate, Class of 1989. After high school, he entered the U.S. Army and served in active duty in support of Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. If you were a family member or a friend, Jim always made sure they were taken care of. He enjoyed landscaping. He loved his family and his dog, Angel.
A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m., on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018, at Evangel Baptist Church, 375 W. 5th St., Lewistown, in the lower auditorium, with Rev. William Howe officiating.
